This map (beta version) enables visual exploration of factors related to voter participation and voting outcomes. It relates two variables at a time, which you can pick using the left or right controllers below the map. Use the up/down arrows to set "cut points" for each of the variables. Click on any state to drill down to the county or parish level. At this level you can view congressional districts by clicking the capital icon (adds red/blue tint for party choice). Click the table icon to see counts of regions high and low on each of the selected variables. The table will turn light red if you find especially strong relationships between the variables at your selected levels.  example
